Mastercard Foundation Baobab Summit 2024

The Resolution Project is returning to the Baobab Summit for the ninth year in a row to host another Social Venture Challenge (SVC) competition for undergraduate Mastercard Foundation Scholars who have an idea for a social venture! The SVC is a chance to compete for a Resolution Fellowship which includes seed funding up to $5,000 USD for each winning venture proposal, mentorship, networking, resources, and access to a community of like-minded peers.

In order to compete in Resolution Project’s Social Venture Challenge at the Baobab Summit, you must meet the following eligibility requirements: 

  • You must be a current Mastercard Foundation Scholar

  • You must be a currently enrolled undergraduate student at a post-secondary institution.

  • You must be a member of the founding team of your social venture. If you are applying as a team, team members must also be currently enrolled undergraduate students at a post-secondary institution.

  • Your venture must be a new business, organization, program, or a major new initiative of an existing organization.

  • Your venture must not have received prior funding from an institution or organization.

NOTE: If you do not meet these eligibility criteria, you will not be selected for this opportunity!
